Meet us at the docks by the Parkway Motel & Marina — we have signs out to direct. The address is 1180 Chokoloskee Drive, Chokoloskee Island, FL 34138.
Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes before your tour departure time so you can get checked in, use the restroom, etc. We try to leave on time — wildlife windows don't wait.
Hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, shoes that you don't mind getting wet, water in a reusable container. Try not to bring flip-flops — shoes that strap to your feet stay on best. You'll also need your Everglades National Park Pass. Don't forget your camera. For the most part, you won't need insect repellent — but you may want some just in case.
Our standard Dolphin/Birding tour is 2 hours. Boat-Assisted Kayak and Expedition tours are 3.5 hours. Photography tours are 2.5–3 hours custom. Sunset tours are 2 hours.
All tours are limited to a maximum of 6 guests. This is a hard cap — we don't oversell. It's part of why our tours work the way they do.
Yes. Everglades National Park requires a separate entry pass for visitors. The pass is good for 7 days and is required to enter the park area we tour. America the Beautiful annual passes are also accepted.
Light rain doesn't stop us — wildlife is often more active in cooler, overcast weather. Heavy rain, lightning, or unsafe conditions may cause us to cancel and reschedule at no charge. Decisions are made same-day with safety first.
Tours leave on time. If you're running behind, call us at 239-695-3633 immediately. We can sometimes hold for 5–10 minutes; longer than that and we may have to cancel and reschedule.
Weather-related cancellations on our end are rebooked at no charge. Guest-requested cancellations follow standard FareHarbor terms shown at checkout. Call us if you need to discuss a special situation — we're reasonable people.
Yes — most tours work great for kids age 6 and up. The Boat-Assisted Kayak tour requires a bit more activity and is best for kids 8+. We have USCG-required life jackets in all sizes including infant.
Partially. The boat itself requires stepping aboard, which can be challenging with limited mobility. Call us before booking and we'll work with you on what's possible. We've accommodated guests with various mobility levels successfully.
Very unlikely. We tour protected bays and mangrove channels — almost no open ocean exposure. The water is calm. If you have severe motion sensitivity, the Sunset tour (when wind dies) is your best bet.
Everglades Boat Tours is a focused brand of Everglades Area Tours (EAT) — same family, same boats, same guides, same launch. Everglades Boat Tours emphasizes our boat-based offerings; EAT covers the full range including kayak, hiking, and fishing tours.
Yes — they make great holiday gifts. Purchase a gift card here. Recipients can apply it to any of our tours.
Online via our booking buttons — they go to FareHarbor where you can pick a date and pay. Or call 239-695-3633 if you prefer a person. Tours often book out 1–2 weeks ahead in peak season (December–April), so reserve early.
