What this tour is.

Our Expedition tour is the most comprehensive Everglades National Park boat experience we offer. Where our shorter tours focus on a specific area or theme, the Expedition combines bays, mangrove tunnels, and remote backcountry into one half-day journey.

If you only have one chance to see the Everglades and you want to see all of it — this is the tour.

What you'll experience.

  • Coastal bays — dolphins, manatees, and shorebirds
  • Pelican rookeries — entire islands of nesting birds
  • Mangrove tunnels — quiet passages through ancient root systems
  • Remote shell beaches — places only accessible by boat
  • Backcountry channels — the wildest part of the park
  • Optional shore stops — beach the boat, walk a remote island

Common questions.

Sort of, but more than that. We cover more area, include mangrove tunnel transit, and have time for shore stops. Most expedition guests tell us it's the difference between seeing the Everglades and experiencing it.
No. The expedition is comfortable for any age — you're sitting on the boat for most of it. Optional shore stops are easy walking.
We don't provide food or drinks. Bring your own packed lunch, snacks, and water — we recommend a small soft-side cooler.
Yes — within reason. If you'd prefer afternoon over morning, or specific timing for tides or light, we can usually accommodate with advance notice.
Photography tours are slower and built around shot opportunities. Expeditions move more — covering more territory at a relaxed but steady pace.
